“As We Say Back Home” is a glossary published in 2024 containing words from a dialect spoken by peasants in the Pays-d’Enhaut region in Switzerland. I photographed objects from the late 1700s to the 1940s to illustrate the glossary. These items were once part of the daily lives of peasants.
